| The first challenge for computing science is to discover how to maintain order in a finite, but very large, discrete universe that is intricately intertwined. And a second, but not less important challenge is how to mould what you have achieved in solving the first problem, into a teachable discipline: it does not suffice to hone your own intellect (that will join you in your grave), you must teach others how to hone theirs. The more you concentrate on these two challenges, the clearer you will see that they are only two sides of the same coin: teaching yourself is discovering what is teachable. |

| Computer Science and Engineering Department |
Equipped with the latest in hardware and software, our department goal is to deliver high quality integrated technology facilities and services in support of our students. Our faculty is dedicated to teaching excellence, and most faculty members have an open-door policy to facilitate student-faculty interactions. We highly value student feedback, and hold regular meetings to obtain student feedback for continuous improvement.
Our Department maintains six computer laboratories and a computer help desk which is available to assist our spanking new engineers. Every computer found in our lab provides access to widely used commercial application software as well as programming languages. Every computer is connected to the internet through college's reliable, high speed connection. Network infrastructure is supported by routers and D-link switches and powered by latest Windows and UNIX server platforms.
Most computer laboratories are free from classes and they are available exclusively to the students carrying out their assignments, practical, researching or for exploring the internet.

| Department Laboratories |
| There are more than 100 computers in the department, which serves as the lifeline of the department. The facilities of all the labs can be accessed throughout the working hours of the department. The department is having six state of the art Laboratories with different platforms like Windows NT, Linux. |

| Computer Programming and Practice Lab |
Programming is the intellectual endeavor of creating individual software programs. Part of it involves thinking (design, analysis); part of it involves coding (translating a design into instructions via programming languages such as C or C++).In this lab students learn about how computers are built (architecture), the principles behind important "infrastructure" software systems (operating systems, databases), study classic algorithms and learn to design your own, learn how compilers and language translation is done, study specialized computer science areas. |
| |
| Data Structures Lab |
The objective of Data Structure Laboratory is to help student qualities under the able guidance of the faculties. In first semester, student learns programming in C, solving problems, developing logic and some data structures. In second semester, students further learn, in data structure course, advanced programming skills, complex algorithms and data structures. Also students do their mini-projects in this lab to link various concepts learnt during the whole semester. |
| |
| Object Oriented Programming Lab |
This lab is available for students for the programming in object oriented languages like C++. Object oriented programming is a schematic paradigm for computer programming in which the linear concepts of procedures and tasks are replaced by the concepts of objects and messages. An object includes a package of data and a description of the operations that can be performed on that data. A message specifies one of the operations, but unlike a procedure, does not describe how the operation should be carried out. |

| Internet lab |
Students need to be exposed to the outer world and through Internet lab students access the polymath information available about the latest events and happening around the world in all the fields. Students can access internet in well furnished and well equipped lab .They can also access internet facility in library for searching e-Books and journals. Apart from the daily learning schedule students are given an extra hour to excess internet.
|
| |
| Language lab |
Communication techniques play a vital role in bolstering the personality of the students. The students are exposed to the communication skills and personality development traits in the language lab. This lab enriches the knowledge of the language by providing interactive language sessions. The language basically provides exposure to the students about all the four skills of language vis-à-vis Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
