Kamlesh Joshi (Asst. Professor),Department Of Mechnical Engineering presented paper in NATIONAL TRIBOLOGY CONFERCE(NTC-2011).
A National Level Conference with the objective of Advances and Awareness of Tribology among the different researches working in academia, R & D organizations and especially in the industry was organized by Mechanical &Industrial Engineering Department, Indian Institute Of Technology Roorkee, under the aegis of Tribology Society of India (T S I),during December 08-10 ,2011.The main theme of conference was the "Mission Tribology -for better productivity". Kamlesh Joshi (A.P.) from Department of Mechanical Engineering presented a paper on "Wear behavior of Nickel -Molybdenum alloy coatings with pulse electro deposition technique". This work was appreciated by the committee.

ROBOTICS WORKSHOP
A robotics workshop was successfully conducted in our college on 3-4 November 2011, which was conducted by Robosepians India under the guidance of IIT Kharagpur. Total 46 students were registered in the workshop. The four main phases were held under which the workshop was completed. In 1st phase students had some basic knowledge about the Electrical n Electronics components. In 2nd phase students got some knowledge about the robotics n robots, i.e. how to create them and what parts are to be used to create a robot and some part of Programming. In 3rd phase students did the practical part, under that they made their robots and present that in front of all. And last and final phase was Competition part in which those students who made the robots in 3rd phase and they were showed their working robots. Those students who won the 4th phase are going to take part in inter college robotics fest which is going to held in IIT Kharagpur in January 2012.

TECH FEST:ROYAL BEETS
Royal Beets was an inter college cultural cum technical fest which was organized by Electrical Engineer Rocks Club (E.E.R.C.) on 22nd to 24th of september 2011. It was mainly organized to explore the skills and the genere of interest of the students apart from studies. The main events of the fest were Quiz, Scientific projects, Singing, Dancing, Car racing, Counter strike, Dota,advertisements etc. The fest was inograted by director of the college prof. s.k.sharma. It was got a great success and the students were also attracted towards it in huge number.
