Indian education system has helped to produce not one but many noble laureates. Our think tank has devoted numerous hours in keeping the flame enlightened for decade after decade. We salute the courage of the students and teachers, in the post independence ear, who have battled under conditions of poverty, hunger and violence, for the right to equal and qualitative education and improved conditions of services. Keeping the same in mind the, we at Pacific Institute of Engineering want to create a system which respects the right of every person for quality learning.
To throw some light on the technical education system in Indian, I would like to bring into the reader's kind attention that India's higher education system is the third largest in the world, after China and the United States. This was achieved because after the first Five Year Plan, India's emphasis was to develop a pool of scientifically and technically inclined manpower. India's National Policy on Education (NPE) provisioned for an apex body for regulation and development of higher technical education, which came into being as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 1987 through an act of the Indian parliament. India's improved education system is often cited as one of the main contributors to the economic rise of India. Much of the progress in education has been credited to various private institutions.
The Institute under the aegis of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research has been working hard over the years to transform education into an institution that turns out young adults equipped with skills to be productive and contribute to our economy. In addition, we have to ensure that the education we provide gives them all a sense of worth and pride in them. This must apply not only to the present generation of children but to our children's children. Education brings us freedom, the freedom to grow and to use all our resources to their full potential.
The college has been established to churn out engineers that are ready to face the challenges of the decade, the world of engineering and technology is changing day by day. Newer methods are replacing the old ones and hence we at Pacific Institute of Engineering are committed to bring the plan, people, resources and determination together to bring out a better professional in you. Education is the foundation upon which we will build our country. By opening the doors of learning to all, we will ensure a better life for all.
